He certainly delivered in the second half," said the City manager, who also commended the 21-year-old’s mindset after he missed a golden opportunity just moments before scoring the decisive goal. "It’s really encouraging to see how he rises to the occasion and continues to improve.
"I must also acknowledge my staff for their dedication, as they work closely with him every game and training session, focusing on the intricate details that can enhance his performance. It’s part of my role to communicate with all players every match, helping them maximize their potential and address areas for improvement. So, let’s not treat it as something extraordinary.
"A few months back, he wasn’t in the right frame of mind, but now he, along with several teammates, is starting to grasp the importance of mental resilience in football.
